MFM Hosts ‘Joyful Song’ Concert, Urges Nigerians to Trust in God Amid Hardship
The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), FESTAC Mega Axis, recently hosted a musical concert themed “Joyful Song” as an expression of gratitude to God for His unwavering love and protection, even in the face of ongoing difficulties affecting both individuals and the nation.
The event served as a spiritual call to Nigerians—and the global community—not to be overwhelmed by the crises around them, but to remain anchored in faith, calmness, and hope in God.
Delivering his welcome address, Pastor Irabor Enojiasun, Mega Regional Overseer of MFM Festac Mega Axis, described the concert as more than a musical gathering—it was a prophetic outpouring of praise and a divine moment of revival and thanksgiving.
He extended heartfelt thanks to the General Overseer of MFM Worldwide, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, and his wife, Dr. Folashade Olukoya, for their unwavering obedience to God’s calling and for spearheading the ministry’s healing and deliverance mission.
Pastor Enojiasun noted that Dr. Olukoya had encouraged all MFM churches to hold uplifting programs aimed at emotional and physical restoration, in addition to the ministry’s foundation in deep biblical teaching and deliverance prayers.
He highlighted the powerful impact of music, explaining its ability to trigger mood-enhancing chemicals such as dopamine and serotonin. According to him, music can reduce stress, improve emotional well-being, and even promote physical healing.
Beyond individual healing, the concert also aimed to promote unity and strengthen collective identity, especially during turbulent times locally and globally.
In his sermon, Pastor Adewale Adeolumuyiwa, Senior Regional Overseer of MFM South West 6 (Sango Otta), preached from Psalm 66:1–8, encouraging Nigerians to maintain a spirit of thanksgiving and to trust in God’s unchanging love.
“God still governs the affairs of Nigeria,” he affirmed. “We must hold tightly to Christ through sincere repentance, yield to the Holy Spirit, and stay calm in life’s storms.”
He concluded with a word of hope: “Celebrations are coming ahead of everyone. Do not lose heart. Full and lasting joy can only be found in Christ.”
