Nigerians have been urged by Rev. Caleb Ma’aji, the Kaduna State Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), to constantly be grateful to God Almighty to draw more benefits from Him.
For Nigeria to advance, he urged its citizens to also learn to value leadership, whether at the federal, state, or local levels.
God has lavished the nation with material and human resources. Because of this, Nigerians have no excuse for not giving thanks to God for everything that we have.
Speaking on the subject of “Why do we need to thank God as Christians?” at the Evangelical Church Winning All, ECWA, Sabon Tasha mid-year harvest thanksgiving in Kaduna on Sunday, Ma’aji urged Christians to express gratitude to God for life and the blessings that they freely receive.
“Some people don’t appreciate their creator and the many unexpected things He does to them, so they stay the same,”he added.
He asserts that Christians should always give thanks to their creator for providing for their many needs, including the preservation of their life.
In order to live in peace and experience God’s will in their lives, he also exhorted people to lead contented lives.
