Title: Grace for the Mundane
Scripture:
“Whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men.”
— Colossians 3:23 (NKJV)
Devotional Thought:
Life isn’t always fire and glory. Some days, it’s just dishes, traffic, emails, and meetings. And in those ordinary moments, it’s easy to think nothing spiritual is happening.
But grace doesn’t only fall in revivals and worship services. It’s present in the routine, too. God is in the doing—the sweeping, the waiting, the helping, the serving. When you do the mundane with the right heart, it becomes sacred ground.
Heaven sees how you work when no one is watching. How you show up, clean up, follow up—that’s where true spiritual maturity grows. In the quiet grind, you are building eternal things.
“If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones.” — Luke 16:10 (NLT)
Confession:
God is with me in the small tasks. Nothing is wasted when done for Him.
Prayer:
Father, give me grace for today’s ordinary. Let my work be worship. Remind me that every moment matters when it’s surrendered to You. Amen.
Daily Challenge:
Turn one routine task today into worship. Do it with joy, unto God.
