Scripture:
“Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
— 1 Samuel 16:7 (NIV)

Devotional Thought:

The love of God has X-ray vision – it sees potential behind pain, destiny behind dysfunction. And when you carry grace, you start seeing like that too. You stop labeling people by their mess and start calling them by their future.

This is what prophetic love looks like. It sees the David in the shepherd boy, the Esther in the orphan girl, the Peter in the unstable man. Grace trains your eyes to look deeper, to believe more, and to speak into what can be.
“Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” — 1 Corinthians 13:7 (ESV)

Confession:

I see through heaven’s eyes. I call forth potential in people, not their problems.

Prayer:

Father, help me see like You. Show me the hidden gold in people and give me the boldness to speak it out. Amen.

Speak a word of destiny over someone who’s overlooked or underestimated.
