Theme: Love That Prays, Not Just Talks
Scripture:
“The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.”
— James 5:16 (NLT)
Devotional Thought:
Sometimes the most powerful act of love is intercession. Talking about people is easy—praying
for them is spiritual. In a generation driven by online opinions, grace-filled love still bows its
head and lifts people in the secret place.
Prophetic love doesn’t rant – it weeps. It groans in the Spirit. It covers others in prayer,
especially when they can’t cover themselves. This is real warfare, and it's how grace goes to
battle for the people God has placed on your heart.
“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for all
people.” — 1 Timothy 2:1 (NIV)
Confession:
I am a praying lover. My love speaks to God more than it speaks to people.
Prayer:
Lord, teach me to carry others in prayer. Burden my heart with Your compassion, and let love
drive me to intercede. Amen.
Daily Challenge:
Spend 10 focused minutes today praying for someone who has no idea you’re praying for them.
