Title: Peace in the Storm
Scripture:
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”
— Isaiah 26:3 (NIV)
Devotional Thought:
Peace is not the absence of trouble—it is the presence of God. Life will have its storms: disappointments, delays, and uncertainties. But in the midst of it all, God offers a peace that passes understanding. This peace doesn’t come from circumstances but from trust.
When your mind is fixed on God—His Word, His promises, His faithfulness—fear loses its grip. Jesus slept in a storm not because the boat was strong, but because His trust in the Father was secure. You can rest too, even when things don’t look calm.
Confession:
I choose peace over panic. I trust God in every situation, knowing He is in control. My mind is stayed on Him, and my heart is calm.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for being my peace in every storm. Teach me to keep my heart fixed on You. Let Your presence quiet every fear and anxiety. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Daily Challenge:
Take 10 minutes today to unplug from distractions and sit quietly with God. Meditate on His promises and let His peace flood your heart.
