Nigerian model and humanitarian Nwaoma Ukachukwu says God revealed a troubling message to her: a time of crisis and famine is coming to Nigeria if the nation does not turn from its current path.
In a statement shared with the media, Nwaoma expressed concern over rising violence in regions like Benue, the South East, and the North. She warned that ongoing attacks on farmers and widespread insecurity are signs of a deeper spiritual issue, one that could lead to food shortages, suffering, and even loss of life if left unaddressed.
“This is like the days of Pharaoh,” she said. “God showed me that if the ‘Egyptians’ holding this nation back don’t let go, Nigeria will face pestilence and famine.”
Calling out corruption and poor leadership, she urged the government to act swiftly: “If farmers are attacked, who will feed us? If nothing changes, hunger will lead to desperation.”
But her message wasn’t just a warning – it was also a call for compassion and unity. “We need to be our brother’s keeper. We need to fight greed with love and return to God in humility.”
As believers, we are reminded that throughout Scripture, God raises voices to warn and prepare His people. Now is a time to pray for mercy, seek righteousness, and care for one another. In Nwaoma’s words, “We must act now.”
