Locust Army Ministries in Ajah, Lagos, recently celebrated the 60th birthday of its founder, Rev. Prof. Chris Christian, with music, dancing, heartfelt tributes, and thanksgiving.
The event, which also aligned with the church’s Men’s Annual Programme, reflected on the growth of the ministry since its humble beginnings in Kano in 1996 and honoured Rev. Christian’s dedication to teaching, writing, and community service.
In his sermon titled “The Characteristics of the Eighth Man”, Rev. Christian shared how God set him apart for ministry and called Christians to rise in their spiritual authority. He urged believers to grow beyond charisma and fulfill their divine purpose.
Known as the People’s Shepherd, Rev. Christian has authored over 400 books and launched numerous support programmes for families, youths, and the elderly.
Church leaders from across Nigeria and international guests were present to celebrate the milestone and the lasting impact of his ministry.
