The Christian community in Kaduna and beyond is mourning the loss of Rev. Azzaman David, the senior pastor of The King Worship Chapel and Ministry, who tragically died in a motor accident on Saturday. The incident occurred when he was on his way from Makurdi, Benue State, to his home base in Kaduna after a three-day crusade.
Confirming the news, Rev. John Joseph Hayab, Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in the 19 Northern States and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), described Rev. Azzaman as a courageous preacher and a staunch defender of the Christian faith.
“Evangelist Azzaman was known for his boldness, spiritual conviction, and passionate advocacy for persecuted believers,” Hayab stated. “He fearlessly stood against injustice and was a prophetic voice across denominational lines. His passing is a great loss to the body of Christ.”
CAN expressed deep condolences to Rev. Azzaman’s family, congregation, and all who have been impacted by his ministry. The association also prayed for God’s comfort and strength for the Church during this time of mourning.
“Though he is no longer with us, his legacy of courage and unwavering faith will continue to inspire believers,” the statement concluded.
