Brandon Lake Delivers Stirring Message of Everyday Revival at K-LOVE Fan Awards
Worship artist Brandon Lake brought passion and purpose to the stage as he accepted the Artist of the Year award at the 2024 K-LOVE Fan Awards, held at the iconic Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.
In a triumphant evening, the 34-year-old earned Male Artist of the Year for the third consecutive year and took home Song of the Year for Hard Fought Hallelujah, his heartfelt collaboration with Grammy-nominated artist Jelly Roll.
While accepting the honor, Lake used the moment not to boast, but to encourage believers to live out their faith boldly and intentionally.
“Revival might not always come in the ways we expect,” he said. “You don’t need a platform or a microphone to be a revivalist. Maybe your neighbor is waiting for someone like you to show them Jesus. Walk across the street, be His hands and feet, and do whatever God has called you to do.”
Jelly Roll, unable to attend in person, shared a heartfelt message via video.
“Brandon, I love you, brother,” he said. “I just found out we won a K-LOVE award. Man, what a beautiful journey from a jail cell to this stage. Only God could write that story.”
Open about his redemption journey, Jelly Roll has spoken often about his transformation after years of incarceration as a teen, a testimony of grace he continues to share through music.
“I don’t take this moment for granted,” he added. “I’m out serving in other places tonight, but I hope I never miss another one. Love y’all so much.”
The K-LOVE Fan Awards honor excellence in Christian music, movies, sports, and media, all voted on by fans who believe in the power of faith-driven entertainment to inspire and impact lives.
