Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has called for a nationwide prayer meeting aimed at restoring Nigeria’s economy amidst ongoing hardships.

The prayer event, titled “Divine Intervention,” is scheduled for July 2025 at the RCCG national headquarters in Oyingbo, Lagos.

In a statement delivered through his Special Assistant on Administration, Pastor Dele Balogun, Adeboye expressed his belief that the current economic difficulties faced by Nigeria and other nations can be overcome through faith and constructive efforts.

“Though Nigeria and many other countries are going through tough times, the encouraging news is that these challenges can be overcome by faith, as long as we reject doubt,” Pastor Adeboye shared, emphasizing the need for prayer.

He further urged citizens to abandon negative mindsets and focus on cultivating faith and positive reasoning, which would inspire actions to propel Nigeria forward.

Pastor Adeboye also encouraged Nigerians to remain hopeful and optimistic about the country’s future, asserting that the prayer gathering is meant to ignite a wave of transformation and open “divine opportunities” for the nation.
